Job Summary
A successful product company in the healthcare space is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee accounting and finance operations across the organization. This role will lead the AP and AR departments while owning financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, and financial strategy.

Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable department, ensuring timely processing, controls, and vendor management
• Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable department, including invoicing, collections, and medical billing operations
• Supervise accounting operations including general ledger management and reconciliations
• Lead the month-end and year-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review financial statements and internal reporting for leadership
• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and inventory controls
• Build and improve internal controls, reporting systems, and operational processes
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making

Requirements
• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Experience overseeing AP and AR departments and managing accounting operations
• Strong product and inventory accounting experience strongly preferred
• Healthcare billing experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, close processes, and internal controls
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage teams and improve systems
• CPA preferred but not required
